Quadrone natural reserve
It is a wetland comprising stretches of water and a wooded area. It is located near Medicina. Here the visitor can observe different animal species such as the bittern, heron, the coot, the mallard, the kingfisher and the marsh tortoise. The natural reserve houses an educational farm offering workshops for schools on different topics, such as the soil, birdwatching, the herbarium, nutrition, recycling, and bread making.

The Chalk Vein
It is a 15-km long selenite chalk outcrop which clearly emerges from the Santerno Valley. The Vein hides caves and underground passages.

farming tools.
